Ray Ecology

One of the questions about the Seven Rays has been, “If all Seven are always present, always available, then what difference does it make if one is more available than another?”

This question is easily answered if one looks at the Rays as part of the subtle environment of the planetary, solar, and universal life.

Our outer Earthly environment consists of a number things, such as the light of the sun, water, soil, the inner fire of the planet, etc., all of which interact and are interrelated.

Each of these environmental factors varies in activity and/or availability, from place to place and from time to time (in periodic or cyclic motions).

As a result, at various times and places some of these environmental elements are more available while others are less available, and that availability has a tremendous affect on the life (plants, animals, etc.) in that planetary or regional environment.

For instance, on regional levels, areas that receive abundant sunlight and water may be tropical rain forests, while others with the same amount of sunlight but less water may be dry savannas, and those with even less water are deserts.

Different  soil, atmosphere, volcanic, and other conditions can have equally dramatic affects on the environment.

The subtle environment which overshadows, permeates, and is causative to the outer world consists of such things as:

Thus, while all Seven Rays are always present, at various times and for various periods some are more abundantly present or readily available than others. This has a tremendous affect on the subtle environment, and since the subjective is causative to the objective, it has a tremendous affect on the outer world as well.
