"The Temple and the Word is a well-researched, factual and intuitive explanation that possibly exceeds all others. Well done!" Mindy B., Serling, Illinois, U.S.A.
The entire Mother-Daughter-Father-Son myth cycle is explained at great length, with a dozen examples, in Raising the Queen of Heaven. As noted there, the cycle works no matter how a society interprets it. But how a society interprets it - an emphasis on the feminine producing a matriarchal society and on the masculine producing a patriarchal - determines how that society accesses and utilizes the myth cycle and the magical process which it represents.
In the works I've mentioned here this magical cycle, the Seventh Ray creative process, is being approached or explored from three levels:
The Magic of Consciousness - Workshops discusses the subject from a more mental perspective and is designed for experienced, knowledgeable esotericists. The language in which it is written, the style of writing, etc., reflect that goal.
Raising the Queen of Heaven and its sequels discuss the subject from a somewhat broader perspective. They are designed for aspirants who know little if anything about the Wisdom, and the language and style in which it is written reflect that goal.
The Guardian Chronicles, and the various works in that series, approach the subject from a very broad perspective, taking the Wisdom to those who have little if any conscious awareness of the larger scheme of things. Again, the style in which it is written and the language used reflect that goal.
Between the three a very large spectra of the body receptive to the Wisdom is approached and possibly reached. However, the primary intent of these works is to model the magical process of precipitating the Wisdom to humanity, wherever humanity is and in whatever form best conveys the Wisdom.
